Here are some pictures we scanned in of some friends and colleagues. Mostly we're just wasting disk space. What you see on this page are some "thumbnails;" to see the whole thing, click on the links after each thumbnail. If you think that this gallery is fun, you could also look at these pictures of MIS people in compromising positions.

Jan Trumbo and Bruce Miller are showing off their nifty T-shirts that Bruce made. Of course, Jan has her own home page, but you can only send email to Bruce.

Ray Kaplan and Bruce Ellis were seen plotting some shenanigans at a DECUS meeting, most likely involving kernel mode beer drinking. Ray left his home in Tucson and is now moving somewhere cold, but still works for some security folks. You can send email to Ray.

Aaron Leonard may be an incredible TCP/IP troubleshooter, but this does not keep him from kicking back at an occasional Grateful Dead concert. Aaron (send email to Aaron) now works for TGV from his home in Tucson. Aaron isn't the only TGV-er in the bunch. (click for big picture) Debbi Newkirk used to be a manager at the University of Arizona; now she's running education programs for TGV (send email to Debbi). (click for big picture) Stuart Vance, TGV's Vice President for Consumer Products, was caught smiling at a DECUS symposium a couple of years ago (send email to Stu). At the same meeting (in Las Vegas), Dave Kashtan (send email to Dave) hosted a massive TGV dinner at that Italian restaurant near the convention center. (click for big picture) In this picture, you can see Mike Eklund, John McMahon, Chris Janton, Jan Trumbo, Stuart Vance, Aaron Leonard, Dave Kashtan, Bruce Miller, someone else I don't recognize, and Kevin Oberman.

Bill McHenry is a faculty member at Georgetown University. They probably don't have a web page. But McHenry definitely does have email (send email to Bill). Bill, Sy Goodman (send email to Sy), and I all worked together at the University of Arizona; (click for big picture) this is a picture of us in Kiev a few years ago. Sy runs a group at the University of Arizona called "Mosaic," (named many years before the web browser came out). In this (large!) picture taken in Sy's backyard, you can see the group at one of our parties.

Portia Shao works for Innosoft and does a lot of the PC email gateway software development. Naturally, you can send Portia email if you'd like.

(click for big picture) Bill Hancock is a network consultant who likes to wear silly hats at DECUS shows. This was probably taken before he got his PhD. You can send Bill email at his consulting company.

(click for big picture) Jim Townsend is an old friend who was looking particularly GQ in this photo. He is one of the two senior partners in a consulting firm in Washington DC, Information Strategies. If you need any information technology consulting in Washington, send Jim email.
